The American Ulthera ultrasound treatment depth ranges from 3.0mm to 4.5mm, allowing it to target the fibrous septa and the deeper SMAS fascia layer, which is the key area treated during a facelift surgery. The main handpieces are available in 1.5mm, 3.0mm, and 4.5mm sizes, providing more versatility in treatment areas. The device's screen features a built-in patented facial map, which helps physicians divide the face into 20 treatment zones. This ensures the even distribution of energy and precise control over the treatment temperature and depth, resulting in more effective and accurate outcomes.
